I found the film on Tubi. I really enjoyed it as a heart-string drama. However, it seems that this film has two apparent titles. On Tubi, the film is entitled 'Desperate Love,' however, in conducting further research, here on IMDB the title is 'Losing Lerato.' Therefore, which is the correct title? I enjoyed the storyline, story setup and the plot-point which makeup Act 1. I also enjoyed Act II as the drama increased and as the stakes elevated. I also enjoyed Act III as the story resolution. The main idea of the story is "be careful who you sleep with and later marry." Lastly, I enjoyed each character and especially the bond between the father and his adolescent daughter. I also was happy that the ending contained reunification of the father and his now adult daughter.

Speechless!
This is the best local movie ever made, Thami best actor. Eyes filled with tears the whole entire movie.
I felt his pain, left me in tears.
Lerato really is a good girl and loves her dad so much.

I anticipated to watch Kagiso's other movie LOSING LERATO &wheb I did, I discovered it lacked in depth & pacing
The movie was boring & felt long .&
Now again THIS project lacks the same thing, I don't know if it's his trademark or he is blind to see it.
The idea behind the story is catchy & the set up visuals are top notch But coz there isn't depth, the viewer hardly cares about any character coz there is no buildup, the story rushes to create the tragedy of the movie by sacrificing depth & hence the pacing becomes mediocre.
We jump from scene to scene affecting the entire movie pacing coz one min she is on point A then next point C & the next point D There is zero transition from one scene to the next, which makes it feel like we watching cuts that are easy to join & make up run time Like okay Thando has problems & the problem will affect her & she triumphs end of story.
You don't get to see Thando struggle with emotions, how her school crush came about & what type of a friend her bestie is.
We are tossed into the whole thing & only tricked to have remorse for her coz they spilt milk on her or perhaps because she doesn't smile .
We don't even get to know how the problem is, we just see it fly into action & boom well here is the bad guy
Next scene people !!
Ai im.dissapointed truly I wanna like Kagisos work but ai this is so boring can't even fall asleep, this movie should be forwarded to intelligence to use for torturing purposes coz haikhona.
