Though the main characters attend Penn State, the credits list a number of parts as "Penn Student." Penn is the University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League school in Philadelphia, not the Pennsylvania State University, located in State College, PA.
The director Phil Dornfeld was also a producer of Scary Movie 3 and Scary Movie 4, both of which also featured Regina Hall.
