Japanese e-book store Book☆Walker Global unveiled its annual eBook download ranking on Dec 16, 2024. The ranking is based on the data from Nov 1, 2023, to Oct 31, 2024.

Topping the charts at number one is the light novel series Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, followed by Ascendance of a Bookworm. Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro stands out as the only manga series’ that made it to the overall top 10.

The Zenshu TV anime from Mappa announced that it is set to premiere on January 5, 2025 , following the release of a brand new trailer at Ccxp in Brazil. A new trailer and accompanying key art were unveiled during the Crunchyroll Industry Panel, offering an enticing glimpse of what’s actually to come in the original anime series. As previewed in the trailer, the Japanese rock band Band-maid will perform the opening theme “Zen,” with Sou performing the ending theme “Tada, Kimo no Mama de.” As previously announced , Zenshu will stream on Crunchyroll as it premieres in Japan in January. Zenshu New Trailer, Key Art Mitsue Yamasaki ( Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle ) is on board as director, with Kimiko Ueno ( The Royal Tutor ) providing the scripts and Kayoko Ishikawa ( Sarazanmai ) serving as one of the chief animation directors and adapting Yoshiteru Tsujino's original character designs. Zenshu will feature the music of Yukari Hashimoto.

The official X (formerly Twitter) for Japanese publisher To Books announced today that the upcoming new season of the Ascendance of a Bookworm TV anime is set to premiere in 2026. The news will also be revealed on the wrap-around band of the upcoming third short-story collection book of the novel series to be available in Japan on December 10, 2024. The obi also tells that the total number of copies of the series printed has surpassed 11 million. Spy x Family is one of the biggest anime TV shows.

The Japanese TV series, based on the manga series of the same name by Tatsuya Endo, has aired two seasons thus far, as well as a 2023 feature film Spy x Family Code: White.

Clevatess: The King of Magical Beasts, the Baby, and the Corpse Hero, or simply Clevatess, is a dark fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Yuji Iwahara.

The series is getting an anime adaptation, as announced by Kadokawa, but there’s no word on its release date yet.

Kadokawa also unveiled the anime’s first promotional video, which reveals the main cast and staff of the Clevatess anime adaptation.

Girls' Fist!!!! Gt , the manga branch of the Girls' Fist!!!! media mix project, is getting animated! Starting today, the project's official YouTube channel will air a 13-episode short anime. The upcoming Bartender Glass of God anime has poured out a ton of new information tonight about the new adaptation of the manga series written by Araki Joh and illustrated by Kenji Nagatomo.
