It's time; Agatha All Along has officially arrived on Disney Plus and it is set to continue bewitching our lives throughout the remainder of the spooky season. The Marvel Studios spooktacular will run over the course of seven weeks, with a special double-episode finale streaming just prior to Halloween, making the show the joint-longest Marvel Cinematic Universe series yet, sharing a nine-episode count with WandaVision, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, and What If...?.
Speaking of the MCU, Agatha All Along is indeed a part of the Marvel Studios franchise, as its 11th TV series produced for Disney Plus. But, as we've seen in the past, that doesn't mean you have to watch every single project in the franchise to understand it. In fact, as it has a standalone Special Presentation quality about it, few titles are entirely necessary to watch before it to grasp what is going on. There are, however,...

We've all been there; you're enjoying a TV show and consuming all of the awesome moments and developments it has to offer, and then it's cancelled. Gone. Removed from the network and perhaps even concluding without a satisfying finale. Yep, we've all been there.
It's a tale as old as television itself and not even Marvel shows are safe from the cancellation ax. Yes, that Marvel. As in biggest studio in the entertainment world Marvel. That's right; long before it even had regular Disney Plus shows adding to its Marvel Cinematic Universe story, it had Marvel Television shows airing on both broadcast TV and streaming services such as Netflix and Hulu. It was an exhilarating time to be alive as superheroes were running the small screen too.
There were a number of MCU shows back then too, and some that have since been retroactively canonized by recent projects set within that shared universe of superheroes.

For over a decade, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has dominated the film industry, producing one box office success after another. With larger-than-life superheroes, epic storylines, and a seamless continuity of narratives that connected fans globally, it seemed like Marvel Studios could do no wrong. But the tide shifted with the release of The Marvels and She-Hulk, among other recent MCU projects.

The Multiverse Saga is Marvel's current focus, as the franchise continues to highlight the ever-growing world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It's not just one world anymore, as there are countless out there, highlighted in projects such as Deadpool and Wolverine, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, What If...?, Loki, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and The Marvels.
Although more multiversal heroes are expected to appear after the saga concludes (Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool are expected to stick around), the ongoing story of the Multiverse Saga is indeed expected to bow out in the same way that its predecessor (the Infinity Saga) did; with two giant-sized Avengers movies. Yep, Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars will end that era, but they will also kick off another new one entirely.
We don't know much about what comes next from the McU's new chapter, but there have been...

Marvel Studios has been shifting things around in a way that the studio just isn't used to doing. After its first financial underperformers at the box office in its almost two decades of existence, Kevin Feige and co. have been taking steps to ensure that the Marvel Cinematic Universe doesn't experience any more misses like 2023's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and The Marvels. That includes less yearly releases and a greater focus on projects guaranteed to be successful.
It also might include making decisions on its countless Disney Plus series that they've been vague about ever since they were released. This is seemingly related to their new strategy of being more sure of their successes, and that is expected to include some clarity about the future of some of those MCU shows. According to reports, some might even get a second season as Marvel is set to invest in its already-successful shows,...

Since its inception, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been full of surprises. No one could have predicted the success of “Iron Man” back in 2008. Then, after the Avengers were assembled, there was no way to tell that the Guardians of the Galaxy would be the next big superhero team. Now, they’re so well known that there are two theme park attractions based on their adventures. And when it comes to “WandaVision,” the first Marvel Studios show to debut on the then-brand new streaming service Disney+, who would have thought that Agatha Harkness would be among the biggest breakout characters from the cast? Though she is steeped in Marvel history thanks to connections to the Fantastic Four and Wanda Maximoff, the powerful witch was a relatively obscure piece of the Marvel puzzle until Kathryn Hahn brought her to life in the 2021 streaming series. True Believers simply fell in love with...

Marvel Studios is going through troubled times at the moment. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is a complicated mess containing too many titles and too many plot threads that lead nowhere and were abandoned along the way. Recent years have made it clear that the MCU isn't what it once was, and the public has responded in kind. The box office performance of Marvel movies ("Deadpool & Wolverine" notwithstanding) has been declining, and review scores have been trending downwards as well. Nowadays, a Marvel movie feels less like a result of meticulous plotting and planning and more like the messy result of too many discarded script drafts and last-minute VFX changes.
Now we have "Agatha All Along," the latest Marvel Studios title, which is a long-awaited spin-off of the 2021 series "WandaVision." Bj Colangelo gave an overall positive review of the first four episodes for /Film, describing the show as "deliciously chaotic.

Jameela Jamil is among the stars to have been cast in Netflix’s ‘People We Meet on Vacation’ movie adaptation. The 38-year-old actress will be joined by the likes of Lucien Laviscount (‘Emily in Paris’), Lukas Gage (‘Smile 2’) and Sarah Catherine Hook - who is due to appear in the third season of HBO's drama ‘The White Lotus’ - in Netflix’s upcoming adaption of author Emily Henry’s 2021 novel of the same name. Directed by ‘The Hero’ filmmaker Brett Haley and written by Yulin Kuang, the picture will star Tom Blyth and Emily Bader as longtime best friends Alex and Poppy who take yearly holidays together, only to suddenly stop talking to one another for two years. The couple’s relationship is thrown into question when Poppy reaches out to her old pal to convince him to take another vacation with her, and the pair soon find themselves...

There was a time when Marvel Studios and its dedicated fan base were making it seem like their movies and shows should be judged within the parameters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So, if they made a spy-thriller film like Captain America: The Winter Soldier and I compared it with, let’s say, The Bourne Identity and came to the conclusion that Tws was bad, that was considered unfair. If they made a legal sitcom like She-Hulk and I compared it with something that’s referenced in that miniseries, Ally McBeal, and said that She-Hulk seemed like a cheap copy of Ally McBeal, then I’d be called a hater. But now, Marvel’s aura has dissipated quite a bit due to the decrease in its output, thereby pushing people to watch original stuff. So, I don’t think I’ll be burned at the stake for saying that...

Sarah Catherine Hook (The White Lotus), Jameela Jamil (The Good Place), Lucien Laviscount (Emily in Paris), and Lukas Gage (Smile 2) have joined the cast of People We Meet on Vacation, the forthcoming adaptation of Emily Henry’s bestseller from Netflix and 3000 Pictures, on which we were first to report.
Details as to the quartet’s roles are under wraps. Tom Blyth and Emily Bader topline the pic from director Brett Haley (I’ll See You in My Dreams), which marks Henry’s first book adaptation to go into production.
The film follows free-spirited Poppy and routine-loving Alex, who have been unlikely best friends for a decade, living in different cities but spending every summer vacation together. The careful balance of their friendship is put to the test when they begin to question what has been obvious to everyone else — could they actually be the perfect romantic match?

As the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings its Multiverse Saga towards its conclusion, anticipation has once again increased as fans prepare for what the Marvel Studios franchise will throw their way next. We know that Marvel's original star, Robert Downey Jr., will be back for both Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, but he won't be bringing Tony Stark back with him. No, he's the saga's new big villain Doctor Doom.
That doesn't mean we won't see some other original Avengers make a comeback to the franchise. Chris Evans has already blessed us with a cameo as Johnny Storm of the Fantastic Four, but he's also rumored to make a comeback in his MCU role of Captain America. But that's before the Multiverse Saga concludes.

At this stage in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you could argue that Disney+ either saved or almost killed the long-running saga. If it wasn't for "Loki," for instance, the MCU might well have floundered a lot earlier than it did, and "WandaVision" had even non-fans convinced for a second that Marvel's gargantuan franchise could actually yield writing that bordered on real profundity (until someone pointed out that "love persevering" line was basically just a quote from a "Doctor Who" novel). But also: "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law." Or worse, still: "Secret Invasion."
If we're being a tad less binary about this, I think it's fair to say that while Disney+ Marvel shows might not have almost killed the saga, in the aggregate they've been somewhat of a blemish on the McU's legacy. It's not just that many of these series have...

Marvel Studios changed the game for its own franchise in 2021 when it launched its first Disney Plus series. WandaVision is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - a franchise that already had 23 films to its name at this stage - but it was the franchise's first streaming show. It brought the franchise wins it hadn't experienced before (including Emmys) and paved the way for more shows to follow, with the likes of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, What If...?, and Hawkeye to come after it in the same year.
Now, it's hard to remember a time when there wasn't an MCU series or three to look forward to on Disney Plus each year. Each one spotlights a character that was either underutilized or just hadn't appeared in the movies yet, and they build out the universe in a much more detailed capacity than any of the movies could.

Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight came out in 2022 and received positive response among critics and audiences. While there were some flaws in the depiction of the superhero, fans expected to see more of the character in the MCU. Two years have since passed without any significant update about a second season of the show. The reason is most likely the creative overhaul in Marvel’s television side of things.

Zack Snyder, with his Man of Steel, presented several actors in diverse roles. But out of the lot, Henry Cavill definitely stands the tallest. While the actor’s physique and acting were well-received, the antagonists of the movie were also not far behind. In this regard, Faora-Ul can definitely give all the other villains a run for their money with her skills and powers.

Februar: „Captain America: Brave New World“ (Credit: © 2024 Marvel)
Spider-Man? Captain America? Oder doch eher der Hulk? Nein, weit gefehlt.

When the TV series based on the popular video game franchise Twisted Metal made its premiere on the Peacock streaming service back in July, it quickly became one of Peacock’s top five original series, racking up 400 million viewing minutes in its first weekend and earning the honor of being the streamer’s “most-binged” premiere. Now season 2 is speeding ahead and is currently in production. A couple of months ago, it was announced that Richard de Klerk (A Teenage Prophet), Patty Guggenheim (She-Hulk: Attorney at Law), and Tiana Okoye (Mrs. Davis) had joined the cast in unspecified recurring guest roles. Now Deadline reveals that Saylor Bell Curda of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series; Michael James Shaw, who was seen wearing the pumpkin-colored amor of the character Mercer in the final season of The Walking Dead; and Lisa Gilroy of Interior Chinatown have also joined the cast, playing unspecified recurring roles.

Marvel Studios is still revelling in the success of Deadpool and Wolverine but now it looks to bring its success back to the small screen too, as its next installment will be none other than Disney Plus series Agatha All Along.
A sequel / spinoff series to WandaVision, it brings back Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, the witch who tried to claim the Scarlet Witch's power for herself by posing as her seemingly harmless next door neighbour Agnes. It all went downhill for the centuries-old witch when Wanda locked her true personality in the character she was playing, but a chance encounter with a mysterious character (played by Aubrey Plaza) after Wanda's apparent death will see Agatha claw her way back to control.

When Tatiana Maslany’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was released, fans were ruthless in their reception of it. While the show sure had its share of setbacks, it was still a good watch and did not deserve the hate storm. But hey, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, right? But we can all agree on one thing when it comes to the highly polarizing show – we all loved Charlie Cox’s appearance in it.

“Deadpool & Wolverine” is the latest MCU installment, currently smashing box office records—a testament to its long-term significance. Kevin Feige hinted that this movie marks the beginning of the mutant era, and based on what we’ve seen, it’s hard to disagree.
While mutants have been hinted at in the MCU before, with several appearing on screen, “Deadpool & Wolverine” is the first film to directly acknowledge the existence of the X-Men and mutants as we know them. It also brings one of the most iconic mutants and X-Men members into the MCU—or does it?
One of the movie’s biggest draws was the introduction of Jackman’s Wolverine to the MCU. However, a Wolverine variant had already been teased in the MCU two years before the film’s release.

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is the most recent MCU installment, it’s currently breaking box office records, which is no wonder considering how important it is in the long run. Feige teased that the era of mutants begins with the movie, and considering everything we’ve seen we’re bound to agree with this.
Mutants were teased in the MCU before, in fact, several of them were shown on screen, but ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is the first movie that directly acknowledged the existence of X-Men and mutants as we know them, and ultimately it brought into the fold one of the most important mutants and X-Men members, or was it?
One of the biggest selling points of the movie was the fact that it’s going to bring Jackman’s Wolverine to the MCU, but we already had a variant of Wolverine in the MCU, and he was teased 2 years before the movie was released.

Ultron will return.
James Spader is set to reprise his role of the villainous artificial intelligence from 2015’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron” for Marvel Studios’ upcoming Vision series with Paul Bettany.
Terry Matalas (“Star Trek: Picard”) will serve as executive producer and showrunner of the untitled series, which is scheduled to debut in 2026. Although Vision technically died in 2018’s “Avengers: Infinity War,” he was resurrected twice in the 2021’s series “WandaVision,” first as a spectral creation made (and then unmade) by magic, and again as a ghost white robot without any memories from his past.
It’ll prove troublesome for Vision when Ultron returns, since the characters have a longstanding history. Ultron created Vision’s original synthetic body as the permanent home for his AI, but the Avengers intercepted it and instead placed Tony Stark’s AI assistant J.A.R.V.I.S. inside, creating Vision. At the end of “Age of Ultron,...

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, comparing heroes is like mixing apples and oranges—one is a cosmic fruit salad, and the other is a grounded slice of pie. Not convinced? Take Bruce Banner’s Hulk and Tatiana Maslany’s She-Hulk, for instance. Recently, Marvel fans have been chattering about She-Hulk’s attempts to tackle sexism in a way that some perceive as trivial compared to the Hulk’s far more harrowing experiences.
Still from She-Hulk: Attorney at Law | Credits: Marvel Studios
In She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Maslany’s Jennifer Walters dives headlong into the quagmire of gender bias. However, this has made some fans shake their heads, thinking Hulk’s disturbing past—complete with near-suicide, military chases, and alien adventures—makes She-Hulk’s battles look like a walk in the park.
You might be well aware that Jennifer’s cousin, Hulk (Bruce Banner), has been grappling with epic-sized woes in the MCU.

Daredevil Star Charlie Cox Plays Coy on Joining the Avengers: 'We'll Get Into That' - Main Image
Will Daredevil join the Avengers? Charlie Cox has been 'so careful' trying to keep the franchise secrets to himself, but this recent interview may have just teased the Man Without Fear's Earth-616 future.
Charlie Cox Hopes Daredevil Gets to Be A Part of McU's Avengers
Since Marvel plans on having Matt Murdock aka Daredevil officially join the MCU, there's no doubt that the Man Without Fear would likely join the main line-up set to save the universe from downfall.
While waiting for the slated Daredevil: Born Again, Charlie Cox shared what he knows about the future of his hero in the franchise.
"I have to be so careful," Cox recently shared at the FanExpo Chicago this weekend (via ComicBookMovie), "Look, I can't! I'm not going to say, there [are] so many [characters to team up with]."

Daredevil: Born Again Star Charlie Cox Shares Hopes To Join McU's Avengers: "We'll Get Into That..."
After playing the Man Without Fear in three seasons of Daredevil and the spin-off series The Defenders on Netflix, Charlie Cox made the leap to the MCU with 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home.
He's since appeared in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Echo and will take centre stage in Disney+'s 9-episode Daredevil: Born Again (production on season 2 begins this November). Looking beyond that, it seems Cox is eager to assemble alongside Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
The actor has already expressed his interest in reuniting with Spider-Man and, at FanExpo Chicago this weekend, addressed the possibility of teaming up with The Avengers.
"I have to be so careful," Cox started. "Look, I can't! I'm not going to say, there [are] so many [characters to team up with]. There's one particular group of people that I would like to be invited to play with...but we'll get into that a little bit later!"

She-Hulk has famously gained a reputation as one of the worst Marvel shows to date. Fans have been more than just critical of the series, ripping it to shreds in every way possible and using it as a cautionary tale for the decline of the superhero genre. However, many forget that the show wasn’t a complete failure.

Although it was certainly something new for many fans, it brought about a new layer of representation to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which was famously lacking in female representation. Nothing showcases this better than one scene about the anger that Tatiana Maslany’s character experienced on a daily basis.

This year’s D23 event was filled with exciting news, with one of the standout moments being the teaser trailer for ‘Daredevil: Born Again.’ The teaser unveiled potential plot points and characters for the first season. It’s now officially confirmed that Muse will appear as one of the villains, and White Tiger will make a cameo, validating earlier set leak rumors. Additionally, Bullseye will start the season in jail.
The teaser suggests that Matt Murdock and Kingpin will have some form of understanding, though it appears likely to fall apart as the season progresses. Furthermore, the trailer hints at possible connections to the Young Avengers, particularly with Yusuf Khan’s presence.
The leaked trailer also confirmed several helmet designs, suggesting that Daredevil might don at least five different suits in the upcoming show. This isn’t surprising, given Daredevil’s varied wardrobe in the source material. The Netflix ‘Daredevil...

Charlie Cox is without question the definitive version of Daredevil. Ben Affleck may have played the character in the underrated 2003 movie, but Cox's performance in the 2015 Netflix series really presented The Man Without Fear as a main event level player in the Marvel live-action field. So when the character was eventually introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there was no question about who should play him.
Years after the Netflix show's premature cancellation, Cox joined the MCU in multiple cameo appearances; the most significant being a guest spot in an episode of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. But it's all building towards a more long-term return, as the actor will reprise the role full-time in Disney Plus series Daredevil: Born Again.

Daredevil's Charlie Cox Thought MCU Series Renewal Was 'Definitely Over' - Main Image
Ever since Netflix's Daredevil got canned, Charlie Cox lost hope of ever getting an MCU renewal of his series. That is until Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige dialed him up to join the comic book franchise to reprise his role.
Charlie Cox Initially Thought He Lost Daredevil Forever
Although Charlie Cox reprised his role as Daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home and later, in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, he couldn't see hope in ever getting his series revival.
Considering that Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin returned for his roles in Hawkeye and Echo, it was difficult to think that Marvel had no plans involving The Man Without Fear.
Cox recalled they had stopped shooting the Netflix show at the end of 2016, only to have it canceled sometime in 2018, "And then it wasn't until midway through 2020 that...

Rumors have been running rampant for months, suggesting that Marvel Studios would be scrapping some of its riskier projects. If you've been a fan of the franchise for a long time, you'll know that rumors are always circulating when it comes to Marvel, but this time it's different.
After the underperformances of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and The Marvels, it showcased that the studio couldn't just produce anything and turn it into a Marvel Cinematic Universe hit anymore. Shortly after that, reports revealed that Disney CEO Bob Iger was working with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige to help the studio adopt a new "less-is-more" approach. That meant it would release less titles in a year in order to ensure that each one gets enough focus to produce the strongest product possible.
Sometime after that, reports emerged that this approach also involved less risk-taking, with rumors of a number of in-development titles getting scrapped.

"There is no God! That's why I stepped in!" declared the megalomaniacal High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji) in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3." Powerful line, but oh how wrong he is.
The Marvel Universe (of both the comic and cinematic flavors) is home to many gods; Thor is one of the setting's A-list characters, after all. The Thunderer's fellow Norse Gods co-exist with the Greek/Roman pantheon. "Thor: Love & Thunder" showed there are enough gods out there to fill a whole metropolis, Omnipotence City — though Gorr the God Butcher wants to cut that number down to size.
Beyond adapting real mythological figures, the Marvel Universe also has the godlike Celestials; enormous, multi-colored (but still vaguely humanoid) beings older than the cosmos who maintain the universe. Secret Invasion introduced audiences of the MCU to The Harvest, which had the Skrull going through the battlefield where Thanos fought he Avengers in Avengers: Endgame. Their objective was to collect DNA samples from all the enhanced beings that had spilled blood in the battle, be it Captain America, Captain Marvel, the Black Order, Black Panther, or Thor.

After the Netflix and Marvel Studios’ partnership came to an end, it also meant the end for a lot of shows that were born out of this partner. And Daredevil was one of the first ones to be canceled, that too after three very successful seasons. But fear not fans, as Marvel Studios saw the error in their ways, and are bringing the cast back together for a brand new reboot of the previous storyline.

Writers and showrunners were changed to make the series more connected with its first three seasons on Netflix.

It's been a bit of a rocky ride for fans of the Man Without Fear, better known as the Marvel comics hero Daredevil. It all started with a rather disappointing big screen outing in 2003 with Ben Affleck playing everyone's favorite blind crime-fighting lawyer, then a rather spectacular Netflix series that ran for three seasons starting in 2015, starring Charlie Cox as Daredevil. Unfortunately, the Netflix Marvel shows came to an end and it looked like that might be the last any of us would get to see of the character, but then the MCU scooped him up and changed the character's whole on-screen trajectory. Cox's Daredevil had a brief appearance in "Spider-Man: No Way Home" and appeared in the Disney+ series "She-Hulk," preparing audiences to dive back into the seedier, darker side of Marvel before "Marvel's Echo," which set the stage for "Daredevil: Born Again."

"Deadpool & Wolverine," as polarizing as it is, does give the Marvel Cinematic Universe several new things. It creates a true connection between the McU's movies and 20th Century Fox's Marvel movies — leading to several great and not-so-great cameos. It also brings a level of over-the-top and gory violence that the franchise hasn't done before (for obvious reasons), like when a beloved actor in a not-so-beloved role gets their skin graphically peeled off.
But with Deadpool as a character comes something else: a constant stream of profanity and filthy jokes. This is what led to Kevin Feige being forced to explain the concept of pegging to other Marvel execs, and a joke deemed too filthy for Disney. It has been three years since Kathryn Hahn made her MCU debut in WandaVision, who was one of the better twist villains under the Disney umbrella. It’s no secret that MCU’s Phase 4 struggled significantly, holding the lowest approval rating in the franchise with most projects deemed “mediocre” at best. It’s forever going to be remembered for gems like She-Hulk and Eternals, Phase 5 appears to be on a better trajectory, largely supported by successful projects such as Deadpool & Wolverine, Loki, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
However, it was the disastrous performance of The Marvels that prompted major changes within the studio. Bob Iger himself acknowledged that Marvel will be scaling back its creative output and prioritizing quality over quantity, implicitly admitting the film’s shortcomings.
Recent rumors from Chris Gore, founder of Film Threat, shared via Critical Drinker’s YouTube channel, suggest that in response to the poor results of Phase 4, Feige and other Marvel executives have quietly “cleaned house,” firing producers who could be considered activists.

Phase 4 gave us gems like ‘She-Hulk’ and ‘Eternals,’ and by the early looks of it, phase 5 already looks like it’s shaping up to be better mostly carried on the shoulders of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine,’ ‘Loki’ and ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.’ – all projects deemed successful.
We know that it was however the catastrophic failure of ‘The Marvels’ that kickstarted some major changes within the studio. Iger himself commented that they will be reducing their creative output in the years to come, and focusing more on quality over quantity – indirectly admitting that the movie was – bad.

‘The Marvels’ was released about nine months ago and now feels like a distant memory to MCU fans. The movie was both a commercial and critical failure, losing a significant amount of money for the studio. Despite its lack of impact on the larger MCU storyline, it initiated some major changes within the studio.
In response to the film’s poor reception, the MCU announced a shift in focus from quantity to quality, significantly reducing its future output. There are also insider rumors that the movie’s failure led to the cancellation of plans for ‘Captain Marvel 3’ and Monica Rambeau’s standalone TV series, although these remain unconfirmed.
The movie appears to have had significant repercussions in the world of comics as well, particularly affecting the ‘Captain Marvel’ series intended as a tie-in with the film.

‘The Marvels’ was released around 9 months ago, and at this point, it seems like a distant memory to the fans of the MCU. The movie was both a commercial and critical failure, losing an eye-watering sum of money for the studio, and despite being largely irrelevant in the large scheme of things it kickstarted some major changes within the studio.
Following the catastrophic reception, we learned that the MCU will focus on quality rather than quantity with significantly reduced output going forward. There are also insider talks that the movie’s failure resulted in the cancellation of plans for ‘Captain Marvel 3’ and Monica Rambeau’s standalone TV series – but as I’ve mentioned those are only rumors.
It seems that the movie has had far-reaching consequences for the world of comics as well, in particular related to the ‘Captain Marvel’ series that was supposed to serve as a tie-in with the movie.
