Although the show was made for television, it was heavily censored when it was broadcast on Logo. The subsequent DVD and blu ray releases are uncut.
Rue McClanahan was only fourteen years older than Bonnie Bedelia who played her daughter.
Jason Dottley, who took over the role of Ty, was married to writer/director Del Shores from 2003-2013. The role reverted back to original actor Kirk Geiger for A Very Sordid Wedding (2017).
Episode 12 ends with the note "To Be Continued," but the series was apparently canceled and there was no closure.
