Knowing that Amish women never revealed their hair publicly, the main character, when dressing in Amish clothes and pretending to fit in should have pinned her bangs back to be hidden by her hair piece.

Married Amish men grew their beards long thus the main character's beard was not portrayed accurately by being short. Also at the end, when the main character's hair was revealed, it should have portrayed a straight bowl cut at the bangs and not a current English hairstyle.
This movie portrays this Amish community as being conservative, therefore women's dresses should have been long sleeve, not short sleeve as was shown by the main character's sister.
At the Amish Bed and Breakfast, lighting should have been portrayed by oil lamps not candles as is typical in most Amish homes.
