I recently watched "Psycho Path" at the Shriekfest film festival and came away impressed. Writer Cooper Thornton and director Daniel Robinette create a world that begs to be a feature length film. "Psycho Path" is a hybrid between a found footage and traditionally shot film with Abigail Wilson doing a fine job as Laurel. Taking cover in a cabin during a rain storm, Laurel discovers strange markings that give you a "Blair Witch" vibe. That's where the comparisons to "Blair Witch" begin and end, "Psycho Path" has it's own story to tell and it intensely builds it in a very smart way until the very end.
A vlogger missing the right way in forest. A house with so many bizarre signs , part familiar on wood wall. And the high price of the desire to help. The touch of Blair Witch and inspired use of the pieces . So, just well crafted short horror.
