"A Director's Journey"????!!! What pretension! Catherine Hardwicke is one of the current batch of pseudo-directors that Hollywood is trying to force feed to a bored public.
All she demonstrated in her first films is an ability to shoot on video and shake the camera (no doubt to try and hide the fact that the aforesaid video looked terrible).
That she tries to pass herself off as a director is pathetic enough, but that HBO feels compelled to try and help her with a pretentiously titled bad behind the scenes is beyond the pale.
Shame on you HBO. And shame on the studios that give Catherine Hardwicke movies to destroy (I meant "direct").

I believe that Catherine Hardwicke is an EXCEPTIONAL cinema director. After seeing "Nativity" I was impressed, I looked for who there was her directed and I see that her in the year 2006. Congratulations to this brilliant woman. Catherine Hardwicke born to the South of Texas in the border city of Mc Allen, studied art in Mexico and he obtained a title in architecture for University of Texas in Austin. She was rewarded with the noted Director's Award in the Festival of Cinema Sundance in 2003 for Thirteen that marked their premiere like director and screenwriter of a film. "Thirteen" continued winning Jury Prize in the Festivals of Cinema of Locarno and Deaville, a special mention of National Board of Review, the Prize to better Script in the Festival of Cinema of Nantucket, three nominations to Independent Spirit Award, and thirty nine of the critic's of 2004, lists of the best appeared in the number including Washington Post and New York Time.
