Cat Leopold is listening to music in his apartment, the mice are trying in every possible way to get into the house of the Cat, but to no avail. Then they lure Leopold out into the street and set up a trap. Then the exhausted Leopold calls the doctor, who tells him that the reason is very simple: "You are too kind."
