I saw this as part of a block of films at the Satisfied Eye International Film Festival and it really was an absolute text book work in terms of what can be achieved with the short form. The incredibly accomplished directing and wonderfully slick and artfully constructed script were supported by note-perfect acting performances that combined into a perfect 8 minutes. A film that is restrained and conveys just enough at each beat, it balances drama, comedy and pathos in equal measure. It's one of those films where you're better off going in knowing as little as possible, but will leaving wanting more. A perfect short.
