Having watched both seasons within the space of a few days one can say that it's a series that is watchable. We're having a heatwave at the moment so being stuck in the house meant that dross like this made the time pass quickly.
And one learnt from it too - Martinique despite being a part of France is clearly desperately poor yet has a cost of living equivalent to the mainland. I never knew that there was a thriving sex tourism industry there either with mouth-wateringly high prices for the black guys who serviced elderly and middle-aged Frenchwomen.
As for the plots they were pretty easy - as a person who's hopeless at whodunnits I got about half of the murderers right. One thing that struck me was that three of the stories had a LGBT theme and another had a side story about it. Again one learnt from this about the attitudes prevailing that are more in common with the developing world than Metropolitan France.
The two lead actresses and their sidekick Aurélien made an interesting team - it was formulaic but done well enough that one didn't groan about it. Should another series come out I'll watch it.
