Robinson Crusoe on Sin Island

As the previous IMDb reviewer has pointed out, script deficiencies prevent this Private Media super-production from being a classic but the sheer scale of the movie, pus its serious tone, make for a worthwhile movie made back when expensive, well-crafted story films were still bankable (see for example the huge American hit of the era, "Pirates" from Digital Playground & Adam & Eve).

Today pornographic content is obviously still popular but no longer profitable. With the proliferation of free material via the internet plus so many streaming and subscription outlets, it makes no sense to invest in an XXX motion picture -both DVD and VHS formats are obsolete or nearly so.

George Uhl is effective in the title role, and the vast vistas of him alone make for a engrossing movie. Much of the action takes place in Europe where his erotic dreams (and recurring nightmare of a killing) take place and are presented in quality explict porn footage. Having Silvia Saint and other lovelies of the day is a plus, along with terrific costuming.

Changing the key role of Friday to a beautiful Black enslaved woman named Sunday is a clever touch, though it too should have been made more central to the story. And that story lacks coherence or plot development, not even on the level of famous Private blockbusters like Millionaire, The Pyramid and The Scottish Loveknot.
