Dr Vijay Abbot a Delhi based Sexologist filed a petition in court against Super Cassettes ( T series) as he felt the film defames him and his profession.The court ordered the makers to show him the film before its release.
The song "sheher ki ladki" was remade in this film and it also featured Sunil Shetty and Raveena Tandon both were also in the original one from the movie "Rakshak" (1996)
Film released at newly opened theater in Mumbai Mukta Orion which is run by Subash Ghai's Mukta Arts.The cinema hall was earlier known as Roop Talkies and had shut in 1986.It opened almost after 33 years.
The film had a theatrical release in Surrey British Columbia Canada.
