For some reason, all the characters in the story pronounce 'Capone' as it is usually pronounced in English with two syllables. But for some reason never explained, Peter Sallis pronounces it in the Italian way, with three syllables including the final 'e'. He does this even during conversations with others pronouncing it in the English way.
