The original actor to play the role of Lennie Daniels, Danny Lentes, dropped the role hours before filming his scenes so at last minute, Sami Freed actress, Amanda Sawayer, asked her friend Angel Gomez to do the role of Lennie Daniels and she accepted. Due to the role being taken over by an actress, Lennie Daniels was switched to a female character and renamed Lainie Daniels.

Jordan Hathaway actor and Samhain creator, screenwriter, and executive producer, Scotty McCoy, got hurt on set more than anyone else on the cast. He twisted his ankle during a running scene, got slashed by a rusty cemetery gate during a death scene that he was producing behind the scenes when walking to the location, bruised his arm and ankle during the RelliK chase scene when Jason Reese actor, Scott Yagielniskie, was carrying him post-stab wound, and dislocated his shoulder during a fight scene with RelliK when he mistook a punch and fell onto his should right onto a thick tree stump.

RelliK actor and stuntman, Brett Harris, approached Scotty to be offered the role of RelliK prior to auditions and before auditions were even officially set up. Upon auditioning for the role of RelliK, Scotty McCoy, Amanda Sawayer, Shane Opolsky, and Gabriele Rolland unanimously agreed for Brett to be offered the role.

The original actor to play Jogger, Ryan Fegley, dropped the role 24 hours prior to the scene filming due to the graphic nature of the character's death which involved full nudity. Gage Harris, whom is the real-life son of RelliK actor and stuntman, Brett Harris, took over the role, with the death scene being completely changed due to the new actor only being 13 years old.
