Curb Your Enthusiasm returns to Max this month in what’s being called the show’s final season (for now). If you’re not ready for the Larry David-centric comedy series to end, you can binge all eleven of the show’s previous seasons on Max right now before hitting the new episodes.
Tokyo Vice will also be back in February for season 2. Stars Ansel Elgort, Ken Watanabe, Rinko Kikuchi, Rachel Keller, Show Kasamatsu, and Ayumi Ito are joined by Kubozuka and Miki Maya this time around, as Jake Adelstein feels the danger closing in on him. Max also welcomes you to the premiere of the highly acclaimed (and highly depraved) Dicks: The Musical this month, as a couple of self-obsessed businessmen discover they’re identical twins and decided to bring their divorced parents back together.
Here’s everything coming to (and leaving) HBO and Max this month…

We Bare Bears: The Movie was an absolute delight and even thought it released at the end of June I’m still thinking about it. The way it managed to balance the comedy and melancholy of the series with its absolutely riveting message is one that’ll speak to generations to come. We got a chance to speak with Daniel Chong about the film when it came out but there’s even more We Bare Bears: The Movie behind-the-scenes content that’s coming soon!
The movie will hit DVD on September 8, 2020 and will be stacked (in true We Bare Bears fashion) with a commentary track, the movie pitch, deleted scenes, and more! Cartoon Network was kind enough to give us a first look at a section of one of those bonus features, the movie pitch! In the clip you’ll find below, director/executive producer Daniel Chong gives us an...

San Diego Comic-Con’s first-ever Comic-Con@Home comes to a close Sunday, ending a five-day lineup of almost entirely prerecorded virtual panels.
San Diego Comic-Con 2020 was canceled in April due to the coronavirus pandemic, marking the first time the annual pop culture event won’t happen as planned in its 50-year history. In May, Comic-Con International revealed it would be holding a free virtual con in lieu of the traditional in-person con.
The online convention, dubbed Comic-Con@Home, will take place July 22-26, the same time span during which San Diego Comic-Con would have been held. Between 300 and 400 virtual panels are planned for the event.

Though movie theaters still remain closed in most parts of the world, it’s not like there’s been a shortage of new content to keep folks entertained. And you can mostly thank the various streaming services for that.
Be it Netflix’s The Old Guard delivering action-packed thrills, Hulu’s Palm Springs bringing the laughs or Prime’s 7500 offering up a gripping watch, there’s been a ton of big new films on the small screen lately that have been making up for the lack of theatrical releases. But it’s not only the streamers who are bringing the goods.
On demand has been pretty hot for fresh titles, too, and there are a whopping 13 new movies that released via Amazon Video, iTunes, Vudu, etc., this weekend. Be it Lucy Hale’s enjoyable romantic comedy A Nice Girl Like You, intriguing sci-fi flick Archive or Donnie Yen’s action-comedy Enter the Fat Dragon,...

This article contains spoilers for We Bare Bears: The Movie.
Back in 2016 just after the election of Donald Trump, We Bare Bears creator Daniel Chong posted a message about how the series is an allegory for what it feels like to be a minority in America. Many had questioned why the Bears in the series were treated so poorly and Chong answered, “as an Asian American, sometimes individuals are treated unfairly for no other reason than looking different.”
Chong admits that the allegory was “a little too heavy for an 11 minute (show.)” However, with the recent release of We Bare Bears: The Movie, Chong and the rest of the crew were finally given the time to tread deeper into what the show was really all about.

This We Bare Bears: The Movie interview contains spoilers.
We Bare Bears: The Movie is the perfect send off to the loveable Grizz, Panda, and Ice Bear that have been warming hearts on Cartoon Network since 2015. Their last adventure sees them going up against their own right to simply exist in the world as the government tries to capture them. The story is not only relevant to our times (where racism continues to show its ugly face) but also contains the melancholy that made We Bare Bears such a warm show alongside its trademark humor. It’s truly a special film that does the herculean task of wrapping up a long running series, commenting on the world, and just being the fun we need while going through dark times.
We spoke with show creator Daniel Chong for an in-depth discussion about the making of the film from its original conception...
