The reality of both girls appearing to live in Council Houses, ie, provided by the local authority, and opposite each other, is less likely than winning the lottery. Even if both girls had attempted to get on the social housing list by pretending to be single mothers without partners, ie, a fraudulent claim, they'd typically have to wait three years to apply, with partners the wait would be even longer due to a shortage of such housing as much of it has been sold off by councils to raise funds.
