I guess short films are almost always message-ridden, but I'm not the kind of guy who easily grasps a message in a film after watching it. I am certain that this short film is also full of meaning behind all of its metaphors. Despite my own fault for not being able to take in that meaning, Still's flow of images, enticing colors, as well as a beautiful play of chiaroscuro are a pleasure to see.

Look out for a wonderful performance by the stunningly handsome lead actor :P And after watching Still, try to find another interesting short film Black Cherry by the same director, Lucky Kuswandi--one cool piece of work.
