The first episode seems a bit boring. But ones you hooked, it's getting more interesting every minute.
I expected some sort of Rigoletto kind of end, but it is much better.
In short, it good and I like it!
Really gets you thinking! I was hooked after the first episode! Another great Danish show.
The only annoying thing is the fact that Bibi seems to be modelling herself in the mum from the Brady Bunch!

By "difficult", I mean that the scenes of extreme bullying by the villain of this series are very, very hard to watch. This isn't quite a "horror" film kind of series where you need to cover your eyes to watch bits of it but some of the scenes with the town bully are so hard to take in that you do find yourself squirming in your seat and wanting to look away. I'm afraid that by midway through episode 2, my wife and I just decided it wasn't at all pleasant so we decided not to put ourselves through any more of it.
Well made and with some name Danish actors who always shine and certainly well directed and filmed so absolutely no complaints on those scores.
It might be to some people's tastes (e.g. if you like horror genre - not that this is any way a horror series - perhaps this is for you), but it wasn't for us.

I really like the concept with a town bully that people are feed up with, and I'm a sucker for Danish movies and TV shows. But for some reason I never really fell in love with this. The middle episodes where kind of slow and no really likeable characters. Plus point for some twists.

I did like it very much, because I am a fan of the psicological thriller genre.
The negatives for me: some loose ends and unlogical decisions. Is a second season on the make?
The benchmark is catchy and the reasons-why are well depicted from the beginning, but then the pace somewhat slackens and the number of by-lines and characters becomes to large, without providing any additional value to the course of events (e.g. As to Milad). But there are interesting twists and turns, the viewers can ponder on and over different ideas, and the very final scenes might hint that Season 2 will come as well.
But the performances are good (I like Lene Maria Christensen as Bibi and Morten Hee Andersen as Mike most) and unlike in most Danish series, it includes actors not constantly visible in thriller series.
Fred til lands is more than okay if you are familiar with Danish society and thinking, but I can hardly envisage any wider breakthrough here, even in e.g. Most parts of Europe.
And last but not least - the title. Both in Danish and English, it is confusing and uninviting.

The acting is superb, esp by "the villain".
It does not matter that the pace seems to slow because this is not really slowing - it is the development of each of the characters.
The plot and ending are horribly right.

Where did they get that Kasper actor 🤔 Some of the acting is poor. But idea is good I am on episode 5 hanging in to see what happens. There are better world dramas out there and I have watched quite a few so I rate this Average.

There is a good cast with some some familiar faces; Lene Maria Christensen ( The Legacy/Dicte), Dar Salim (Dicte/Borgen/Trapped), Marijana Jankovic (Follow the Money/Norskov).
This started off well enough but the middle four episodes were just dull and overly long.
I had an idea as to possible scenarios for the storyline after episode 2, but they were better and more interesting than what transpired.
The series was way too long. The subplots, mainly relationships, were of no real interest and I started to realise that things would not come to a conculsion and that the writer had an eye for a second series. I would not be wasting any more time if it did come to fruition.
There were loads of inconstancies and holes in the plot.
If the local police (one man) could not deal with the villain why not take the issues to the Copenhagen police. What was the scar on Bibi's back all about?

I really liked this show. Has the same style as the awesome 'Hunt for a killer'. Crafted script combined with some quality delivery from the cast.

When a hoodlum torments a community, a group of residents decide to kill him. But can they sink their own differences, arrange the murder, and live with themselves afterwards? It sounds like a good premise for a drama, but the problem with 'Deliver Us' is that it's all so obviously contrived: every participant has their own secrets, motives, and points of conflict with the other; at times it feels like an Agatha Christie plot, albeit one revealed in advance of the killing. I think the real problem here is the length; there's actually a good feature film probably buried in this plot, but not really eight hours of drama.

It was ok for the first 4 episodes or so but then it just dragged on so I packed it in after episode 5, which I hate doing. It just needed to be compressed and it would have merited a 7.

The "Mike" character is so awful, the audience quickly finds themselves rooting for murder? What does that say about us?! The only problem I have with this series is that none of the characters is likable. They are all either weak or bad people.

Top notch slow burner. Always tense, well acted with three dimensional characters and a satisfactory ending.
