The original script was written by Jonathan Gonzales in October 2018 on a Friday in between his college classes. He initially hoped to have the film done in time for Halloween but due to scheduling conflicts had to shelve the project away for a couple of months. When he showed the script to his friend Jesse Fraire who was interested in directing the film, they began pre-production.
