Unfamiliar with anyone, but one of the cast identifies by "Skinner" so I'm not taking them seriously.
Verdict
I guess you'd call this a "Stoner" movie short, not being one maybe I just wasn't the demographic.
At 16 minutes at length it looks and feels like a Fullmoon Pictures production. It tells the story of a toy maker who while making his latest creation "Budfoot" begins to hallucinate and go on crazy colourful psychedelic trip.
With Budfoot looking like a cross between a He-Man character and one of the Puppet Master roster nobody can say that the short doesn't have style, it looks great and the use of colour is remarkable.
But sadly it's style and no substance, if you're expecting a plot here you'll be sorely let down as this is just a quarter of an hour head trip with a very predictable payoff.
Honestly when it comes to stoner humour even Evil Bong (2006) and it's never-ending sequels are better than this.
