This is the 2nd film of Luong Dinh Dung whose debut film "Father and Son" is my favorite. And once again, he makes me surprise with "Drowsy City". I think I need to watch it again, maybe twice or three, four times to fully understand the film's message.
Everything in "Drowsy City" is just wonderful (the acting, music, design, cinematography,..everything). And yes, I can make sure that after watching it, each of viewers would have different feeling, but they're all satisfied.
I'm kind of good at predicting what will happen next in the film but I failed in predicting "Drowsy City", haha. The development of film's circumstances is unpredictable and you know what, I don't dare to ignore the movie even for a second because everything can changed unexpectedly at anytime. Overall, I love this film and highly recommend to you. Just watch and feel!
