Oh my heart! This is one of the sweetest, most romantic Korean Drama's I have seen. The leads have unbelievable chemistry! I have seen a lot of Kdramas at this point and more often than not, the couples feel somewhat stiff and awkward, but these two felt so real as a couple it hurt my heart. The dance scenes are incredible; I read that Hye-Sun trained for 7 (yes 7!) months in ballet for this show, and it really paid off. Accompanied by a wonderful soundtrack, L is the absolute cutest male lead as the charming and naive Angel Dan. But truly it was Hye-Sun's performance that deserves a shout out, she was absolutely incredible in this. This is a wonderful, super sweet and romantic story that is so worth a watch. However I did knock a star off because I had a few big questions that were never answered...

Please get your paper towels ready because this drama is a roller coaster of emotions. The lead roles were so devoted to each other in their relationship and it blew me away.i was sobbing for the most part and no I do not regret the 16 hours I spend watching the drama.
An angel is given the mission to help a blind ballerina who is angry with the world find love, the problems begin when he develops feelings for her. The two stars in this are truly excellent and there are many touching moments, also the ballet scenes are extremely well done. A great series with twists and turns that make you wonder if love and happiness will ever be achieved.

I watched all 16 episodes in a row, in a single day, because I couldn't stop watching. I could barely sleep, eat or drink or think of anything else. Prepare a serious emotional reserve, though, because this story is absolutely heartbreaking. Seriously, it's really heartbreaking. It's drama hard-core level. You'll love it though. :)
Okay this Kdrama is seriously underrated. Shin Hye Sun is absolutely brilliant in this show, I haven't seen any of her other work, but she nailed this character to the point. Her expressions are captivating, her voice modulation when she's angry to emotional to crying to happy to calling out Dan, is terrific.
Myung Soo or L is below average in first 9-10 episodes, he keeps making dumb stupid faces and nothing else, also felt like his character was not well written, but he picks it up a notch in the last 4-5 episodes and he's probably the reason the show wasn't top rated, replace him with someone like Kim soo hyun or Lee seung gi and this show would have topped the ratings.
Coming to the show, the OST is good, Pray is a lovely track, loved it, but they kinda overused it, although I won't complain much on that because I love the song. Other tracks were beautiful too. The ballet is done nicely, didn't feel like "not their cup of tea", and seemed to be done very professionally.
As a non korean, not all but most of the Korean dramas feels a little a stretched out unnecessarily, the 16 episodes season usually can be wrapped up in 10-12 episodes, and the 20 episodes season can be finished easily in 14-16 episodes, but they're stretched out mostly. This is one of the rare shows that never felt that it's being stretched out. Deserved 16 episodes.
And the last, the love story is beautiful, developed nicely, no unnecessary breakups and forced love triangles for both lead male- female characters. A lot of credit has to be given to Shin hye sun, she carried the show throughout.
A must watch show if you love Kdramas and love stories.

Hye-Sun Shin is the main reason to watch this drama. She shines. She dazzles. She offers so much that you actually don't need any other reason.
When you start a drama about an angel you don't expect gritty realism. Instead you are ready and willing to surrender to a fantasy in anticipation of an entertainment reward for doing so. This series would have delivered that entertainment reward without Hye-Sun Shin. With her it delivers in spades.
I have seen Hye-Sun Shin before. She was fine. I cannot say why she is so much more than fine here. Perhaps the transition of her character from spoiled rich girl with a huge chip on her shoulder to someone with so much to give provides the bedrock for you to root for her. Somehow she was more beautiful than I had realised. More touching. More winning. More sympathetic. More everything.

I was not expecting much from this series but I really enjoyed it. They say the lead actress is the best of her generation and after watching her in this and Mr Queen I can only think if one who approaches her level. The main lead was also very good as were the supporting cast.
A fantasy about an angel sent to earth with a mission to show a blind woman how to love. It sounds a bit soapy but was surprisingly suspenseful and emotional. You really were caught out by some plot twists. I have been watching kdrama since covid and this is certainly in the top 10, maybe the top 5 . It's subjective of course..what I like may not be to others tastes but in the genre of fantasy romance I would only rate My roommate is a gumiho above it. Excellent and the soundtrack is one if the best I have heard.

This series is in turns romantic funny and magical. It's a different series that is worth watching. The ballet Giselle is quite nicely integrated into the story. And the supporting cast has some real ballet dancers. More authentic than the movie "Black Swan". In fact Ni Na is played by a pretty good dancer Kim Bo Mi. The casting is good. Lead actress Shin Hye Sun is slim enough to be convincing and can dance. She is expressive and convincing even though she doesn't have the prettiest face. The angel is played by Kim Myung Soo who has an angelic looking face. The wings are well done.
Some faults: There is a drag in the last third about becoming human. It is quite satisfying when the horrid relatives get their just desserts. The very ending feels a bit cut off. Some more of them together at the end would have been more complete.

Now here is a drama that got it right, L is an actual angel and this one proves it!
Fun aside, "Angel's Last Mission : Love" started like a fairy tale. The drama was filled with dancing and music and top notch aesthetics. The leading lady was great, as she managed to dance and to performe like a real ballarina. She had chemistry with her partner as well and that helped the love story a lot.
The universe with the angels and everything was well built as well. It was interesting and intriguing. Plus, the dramatic past stories were really good.
However, the drama got predictable and boring towards the ending. The family drama was not original, the love story was too cliche and the last twist just okay.
So, seven out of ten.

Most of the romantic Korean drama is too much cringe we all know. But for their romantic moment and acting no one can beat romantic kdrama i think. And this drama is another example of it.
Sit back with your tissue paper. Lead actress of this drama is just awesome, her acting was on next level (honestly all korean actress are too much good at their acting). Though it was emotional love story Between them, still it was a best one in my opinion. I have no word to say about Their chemistry. So if you are too much romantic drama lover just go for it.
But they should give some more time with happy ending. Still they wrote this story with happy ending was good enough. I wish they could give at least 5-10 minute with happy ending moment.

I really enjoyed the first 2/3 of this series. Strong echoes of "It's a Wonderful Life" with Angel Dan on his final mission to return to Paradise (ie earn his wings). All this time he's looked after animals not people, but he finds himself saving a wilful, beautiful blind ballerina who was supposed to die. There are some fine performances here on the part of the main actors, though the "ballerina" mostly moves her arms and lifts one leg; the real dancing is filmed far enough away she could be anybody--and probably is.
So far so good, but about halfway through the writers started adding lots of twists and turns, to the place that it started to take forever. All the intrigue and real action is packed into the final ten episodes or so, and The Deity (as He is called in the subtitles) seems to change its mind a lot. Archangel Hu is awfully clueless for a head of section! My question is, what kind of Archangel wouldn't recognise another angel the moment they made contact? I toughed it out to the end just to see how they resolved the whole tangled tale. The ending was okay...but somehow not satisfying. It was like they decided to throw in a bunch of possible resolutions and let the viewers take their pick. From "great" at episode 15, by episode 32 my reaction was "meh."

This had the making of a very good series but as it turned out was just average, the two leads were good together but for some reason the writers gave the 2nd male character more lines than the lead who was much better and hes supposed to be the lead, go figure.
Dong-geon Lee cannot act and his role in the series was annoying i had to fast forward his parts just to watch this.

A nice fantasy series which connect the world of angels with the world of normal people. The story concerns an ex-ballerina and the mission of an angel. The female lead , Shin Hye-Sun is doing amazing work in her role. She is definetely the show stealer. She is so expressive and she manages to appear every feeling in her face. The storyline is really interesting too. I never got bored during all the episodes. The chemistry between the lead characters is good too. To my mind , the male lead is the worst part of the whole series. He seems to be inexperienced and especially at the first episodes he behaved like immature child. However the whole series worth to watch it. It is a really underrated kdrama.

I was seriously misled by the number of very high ratings of this drama. So far as I was concerned it was a mishmash of illogical ideas with everything laid on with a trowel ; my wife and I did persist to the end largely because we wanted to post a review and it would have been unfair to have done so after not seeing the whole thing. But it did require some determination to last all sixteen episodes ! Perhaps the link with ´the deity´ inspired all the enthusiasm but the input from the supernatural side of life was just as bad as the human plot. I find many K-dramas to be brilliant but this was a disappointment.

The storyline was unique but what's most amazing is the cast. You'll fall in love with the main leads and their chemistry. The way they both have expressed their emotions and portrayal of love by them will make you cry your eyes out, so don't forget to keep tissues with you. Not only the leads but the supporting cast is great too, both positive and negative roles are done by the cast in a way that you won't forget them any time soon after watching this series.
