The current Judges and Presenters are painful to watch. They lack talent. Have poor voice projection tone for television. This show is a waste of resources for the Australian Entertainment Industry. Australia deserves quality free to air television and this one should go.
The format of this show, compared to other versions such as the far superior Britain's Got Talent or America's Got Talent, is lacklustre to say the least. For one, there is no live voting, which means there is zero engagement with the at-home viewing audience. The judges simply elect which act/s go through to the next round, which cuts the tension when it comes to eliminations time to virtually nil. There are also no live shows or Judge Cuts. The host isn't very engaging either, although she's nice enough. The choice of judges is also baffling - Shane, Lucy and Nicole make sense, but Manu? I can't figure that one out. Overall, it's just really disappointing comparing this pointless iteration of the show to its far more popular and more entertaining overseas counterparts.
Padding out the talentless Australian judges with 2 judges from the UK show doesn't save this tedious, cheaply produced drivel. Virtue signalling is strong with this one, winners are those with the bigger the sob story or more diverse gender and race. Perhaps Australia does have talent but it's not showcased here.
Free to air TV in this country is really on it's last legs, it's cheaper to produce brainless exploitative junk like Farmer wants a Wife, MAFs, The Block, The Love Boat, Beauty and the Geek etc than it is to make quality Australian drama. These programs are just filler for ad breaks.

Every judge, at any given moment, looks uncomfortable. Why a chef is judging talent is a mystery. Shane Jacobsen looks like he's incapable of handling studio lights. He's in perpetual sweat meltdown. The acts? One or two very good acts, but not enough to keep this train wreck on the rails.

Great show with brilliant entertainment! Only negative, which I cannot overlook, is the judges wearing the same clothes ! With America's/ Britain's, Got Talent, the judges fashion choice, is one of the main highlights of the show, yet for some silly reason, it seemed a good idea to keep judges dressed the same with new episodes of AGT! Even if filming is all done in one or two days, what judges wear is important, & a great selling tool. It gives the show a glamour prestige look. Then, unless mistaken, Aleisha at one point stood bare footed on the table. I know she meant well, but again, I do not think it was a good look & not hygienally appropriate.
