A thought-provoking piece on the plight of Asian delivery men. Filmed entirely in New York, this piece states the truth behind the perils Asian delivery men on the job. These men endure racial slurs, getting beaten by baseball bats and various violent acts. What may be a small issue to some is becoming a very relevant issue to the Asian community. In the last 5 years, many Asian delivery men have been killed senselessly by being beaten, shot, stoned or thrown in the river. This film made such an impact on me that after I watched it, I felt angry and hurt. Its not just for delivery people, but for migrant workers from all over who suffer abuse because they are working the measly jobs well-off people will never do.
I would like to see more documentaries like this that raise awareness.
