Playing almost like a sponsored feature (the motorcycle action that is, not the XXX content), "Road Movix" is a poorly made Francois Regis product for Marc Dorcel, Regis being one of the least talented helmers who ever worked for the prestigious French label. It's a lot of filler posing as a feature film.
Regis likes to use fancy editing, though he usually dispenses with it once the humping starts in earnest. Non-story has five gals headed to a lavish villa in Ibiza, dallying with studs as much as possible. Cast loves motorcycles, so there are low-speed shots of the guys on hogs riding along to kill running time.
Low point for me was when the group gathers near the end of the film for what I suspected would be an orgy, but no, they watch six deadly minutes of a motorcycle documentary film (titled "Drive Me Crazy") instead. We see stunts of cyclists on the beach and the effect is a parallel world, as I've seen porn films pause for the cast to watch stag films as filler many a time, but never this nonsense.
Several of the sex scenes are very poorly photographed and/or processed for DVD release, emerging as blurry and with the color out of kilter. Sloppiness appears to be Regis's strongest suit, and only brain-dead fans attuned to wall-to-wall sex will get anything out of this. Adriana Laurenti excels in a pov-camera sensual blow-job scene after some truly stupid comedy concerning her beau's erection. Nominal star Priscilla Sol, one of the biggies now lost in the mists of time from Dorcel's lengthy roster of female discoveries, is unimpressive in this assignment, overshadowed by some blonde talent. Ian Scott takes big-dick honors, especially in a hot outdoor threesome featuring Sarah Twain wearing an odd beret.
