Featured review
This is a completely ridiculous movie that made me laugh because it was so outrageous yet made a great comment about American life. The film begins with a couple watching TV at home. Suddenly, the set breaks and they are stuck doing something they are very, very unfamiliar with doing....talking to each other! At first, it's very awkward, as they haven't done this in a very long time. However, after a while it becomes obvious that they have a very serious problem--one that they never noticed because they were glued to the television.
The film is well acted and directed. The best thing about it, though, is its absurdist plot. Sure, it's totally impossible, but it really has a lot to say about the way we live.
