    Pure gold!

The entire episode was great and prison mike was the funniest bit i've seen in a while

Something about that ending is just so pleasing with that song (witch btw Andy is so annoying but he nailed that song) and with Pam looking at Jim, there are a couple of episodes in the show that ends in a super satisfying way and this is definitely one of them.

The only scene which was good was when he pretended to be a former prisoner, everything else was somewhere ok. I'm not saying this episode was bad or something, but considered that this season is one of the strongest so far it wasn't as good as other episodes.

Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchants (uk office) original US office episode

I was rewatching this to see If it hand Ricky's usual writers hand, but it was actually a great episode that fits in well with the other episodes in the series.

It's a shame it was the first and the last, except the first episode, which was based on the original UK office series.

Top Tier comedy level at its finest

How on God's green earth is this episode 8.3/10 is beyond logic, the whole episode start to finish is just absolutely mesmerizing and Michael specifically 👌🏻 he seriously nailed it to the coffin.. and to think he never won an emmy for his role, that's a damn shame.

    The Convict

This is very much in the "I shouldn't laugh at this, but..." category for me, but the fact that it's so well played out, and the fact that Steve Carell's natural charm buys you a bit more goodwill than it would if it were someone else delivering the material, means you enjoy it more than you perhaps should.

There were lots of nice moments here, and even the B story involving Andy, Jim and Pam was good value too.

I like all the little looks to camera and the sweetness that's bubbling underneath the surface.

Isn't Ricky Gervais so much funnier when he writes things and doesn't appear in them too...

When Michael is acting as a prison inmate, the purple bandanna he is wearing constantly changes positions on his head throughout the scene. The flower on the middle appears on the left and right and middle through the whole speech.
    • Quotes

Dwight Schrute: Prison Mike, what's the very, very worst thing about prison?

Angela Martin: [softly to Dwight] Don't encourage him, Dwight.

Michael Scott: [as Prison Mike] The worst thing about prison was the... was the Dementors. They were flying all over the place and they were scary and then they'd come down and they'd suck the soul out of your body and it hurt!

Karen Filippelli: Dementors, like in "Harry Potter"?

Michael Scott: No, not "Harry Potter." There are no movies in prison.
