Mumbai, March 7: Popular TV actress Ankita Lokhande, who will feature in "Halla Bol", an episode on child abuse, says every person should stand up against such a social evil.

The actress will share her viewpoint on child abuse in the upcoming episode of Bindass' show "Halla Bol", which narrates real life incidents of women heroes who have fought against injustice.

Ankita, known for her popular TV show "Pavitra Rishta", will make an appeal to the young audiences to fight back instead of bearing the repercussions of child abuse.

"It is very important to take a stand in such situations," Ankita said in a.

Mumbai, Feb 20: Actress Kangana Ranaut, who will be next seen on the silver screen in "Queen", will launch a new TV show titled "Halla Bol" here Friday.

The show will be hosted by small screen actor Karan Tacker, who was last seen on the small screen as Viren in "Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai".

"Halla Bol", a youth-oriented show, is based on real life incidents and talks about women who have fought against teasing and sexual harassment.

Panaji, Nov 16: A music copyright vigilante authority has threatened to launch 'Halla Bol' along Goa's coastal belt known for its music blaring beach shacks, scorching raves and techno night party hang outs this year, even as the tourist season is all set to begin in a few days.

Halla Bol actress Rushita Singh had to endure five rounds of auditions before being cast in Julia Roberts' Eat, Pray, Love based on the best-selling novel by Elizabeth Gilbert. The film also stars Billy Crudup and Javier Bardem. "Whilst she is an Oscar winner, I've just started off," says Rushita, "The very first day that I went to Gurgaon was also the day when I first met her. On the sets, she transformed into Elizabeth Gilbert and did whatever her role required. And that included mopping floors as well."

Kolkata, Ex-Miss India and actor Sayali Bhagat, who debuted in Bollwood with "The Train", says she would love to play Anarkali, a role immortalised by Madbubala in "Mughal-e-Azam". "I am ready to give an eye to play Anarkali of 'Mughal-e-Azam'. I am aware that legendary actor Madhubala has immortalised the role in the film. But it's my dream to portray the character if given a chance in future," she told Ians at the launch of a bridal wear designer boutique 'Threads' here Monday.Bhagat, who was crowned Miss India in 2004, has also acted in two Hindi films - "Halla Bol" and "Good Luck".
