Michael Strahan appeared in his regular spot on the Fox NFL Sunday show following his controversial moment on last week’s show.
As Monsters and Critics reported, he returned to Good Morning America on Tuesday, but his co-star Robin Roberts was absent.
He continued to appear on GMA for the Wednesday and Thursday episodes before missing Friday, likely due to travel to the West Coast.
His return to Fox NFL Sunday arrived after Strahan’s controversial TV moment during a special Veterans Day tribute show with his colleagues on November 10 at Naval Base San Diego.
Strahan’s colleagues stood with their hands over their hearts during the National Anthem. However, Strahan stood with his hands below his waist and one gripping his opposite arm.
Many viewers blasted the former New York Giants star for the controversial TV moment, indicating he needed to apologize on air or that they were boycotting the Fox show.

2017-01-25T08:16:21-08:00Football, Basketball Beat Inauguration in TV Ratings
Coverage of last week's presidential inauguration dominated cable ratings for the week, but it couldn't claim the most-watched single program title. That honor goes to an NBA game that edged out Donald Trump in terms of viewership among prized younger viewers.
The Monday-night game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors on TNT was the highest-rated cable program for the week with 2.324 million viewers in the 18-49 age demographic. The game narrowly moved ahead of Fox News Channel's noon-1pm coverage of the inauguration, which drew 2.316 million 18-49 viewers.
The only network to make the top ten for its inauguration coverage was the conservative-leaning Fox News, whose coverage took the second, third, fourth and sixth slots with individual hours of its coverage. Also elbowing into the top six was VH1's Love & Hip Hop at number five.

EA Tiburon announced today that the commentary booth in Madden NFL 17 will feature two new voices this season. Replacing last year’s duo of Phil Simms and Jim Nantz will be the team of Brandon Gaudin and Charles Davis.
While they may not carry the same name recognition as Simms and Nantz, both Gaudin and Davis bring plenty of experience to the position. Set to move to the Big Ten Network later this year, Gaudin has been covering the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets since 2013. Additionally, he has provided coverage of several sports on Westwood One Sports, and will even have the chance to call a few live NFL games this season.
A former defensive back for the Tennessee Volunteers, Charles Davis brings both knowledge and experience to the Madden NFL 17 commentary booth. Working for both Fox and the NFL Network, Davis has seen his profile rise over the past few years.

Fox announced the first part of its 2015-16 schedule on Monday (May 11) morning and even though the network has abandoned its annual tradition of revealing two separate schedules, what we already know is full of interesting tidbits. A few highlights before we get down to the night-by-night breakdown: *** "The X-Files" will return with a two night premiere starting after the Nfc Championship on Sunday, January 24. *** "New Girl" is being held for midseason and will air [virtually] uninterrupted in the spring. *** "Empire" will continue to air at 9 p.m., meaning this season's biggest ratings sensation won't be able to serve as a lead-in for anything new, though Fox hopes a halo effect will benefit "Rosewood." *** A Tuesday comedy block featuring Rob Lowe and John Stamos suggests a bit of a demographic shift for Fox. *** Oh and this next season of "American Idol" will be its last. But that's important enough for its own story.

Erin Andrews has been promoted to Fox’s No. 1 NFL sideline reporting team, replacing the network’s 20-year sideline veteran Pam Oliver.
Erin Andrews Replacing Pam Oliver
Oliver broke the news about the shakeup at Fox to Sports Illustrated on Sunday. She revealed that though Fox initially planned to move her completely away from sideline reporting for what would be her 20th season, she managed to secure a spot on the network's No. 2 sideline team for the coming season alongside Kevin Burkhardt and John Lynch. After the 2014 NFL season, Oliver will be done with sideline reporting for good.
Andrews, who came to Fox from Espn in 2012, has been more or less waiting in the wings to take over Oliver's erstwhile spot on the network's No. 1 team with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman. Oliver has known about the change for a few months, during which time she's been able to move past her feelings of disappointment.

Regardless of who you root for, it was a good pro football season for those networks fortunate enough to be in on the sweet NFL action. The 20th NFL on Fox regular season concluded Sunday as the network’s most-watched ever — since 1994 — and its highest-rated since 1995. This season, Fox’s pro pigskin games averaged 21.2 million viewers, topping the previous high of 20.1 million (2010). The network’s 12.5 household rating tied ’95′s high-water mark — which was just its second regular year partnering with the league. What Clicked Sunday NightIt was a weird end to network premiere week, as the most buzzed-about series last night wasn't a premiere, but a cable show's finale (Breaking Bad, in case you've been cave-bound). What's more, not a single entertainment series on the networks cracked 10 million viewers, and almost all were way down versus last year. With all those caveats, it's fair to call ABC's Once Upon a Time a Sunday winner: Without any artificial boost from football, the third season of the fantasy series managed a respectable 8.5 million viewers and a 2.6 rating with those under 50, making it ABC's top show for the night. Sunday's other big network attractions did get help from football: The Simpsons (6.2 million viewers, 2.8 demo rating) was the night's top network entertainment show thanks to its NFL on Fox adjacency, while CBS's lineup dominated in overall viewers (but did typical...
