There is nothing like a good romantic comedy, especially when it is paired with cricket wrestling.
Haruka (Rinako Hirasawa) is a single mother who meets a new guy. Hiroshi (Mutsuo Yoshioka) is unemployed, but gets along well with her son. The two lovers get along great. So great that they are having frantic sex whenever they are together. You don't see that in Hollywood RomComs.
Of course, the sex alternates with the local pastime of cricket wrestling. Hiroshi is trying to beat the champ Anzai (Kazuhiro Sano), whom he has never met. His prime cricket gets in some hot water - actually hot oil, and he now needs to find another.
Of course, neither of the lovers are particularly faithful. We don't just see flirting either, as they engage in sex with outsiders, which, of course, leads to the predictable breakup.
There is some over-the-top silliness, and even some girl-on-girl action that was totally unexpected and, given the context, weird.
But, all ends as it would in a typical RomCom. You knew that, didn't you.

Quirky but likable 'pink' with more than a little humour. Very well shot, this is fast moving with lots of varied and vigorous sex, pubic hair too.
The leading lady is lovely and always up for it, she also looks after her little boy and in her own way an elderly guy she seems to owe money to.
There is a lot of stuff about sumo wrestling crickets, a cucumber is put to an unusual use and at a possibly premature funeral our heroine and another both dressed in black give us a fine girl on girl display in the graveyard

I'm giving this ten simply for the sheer joy this film brought me and its originality.
Haruka, a single mum, a promising djemba-drummer,an office-worker and a nymphomaniac.
Hiroshi, a freeloader, an amateur cricket wrestler, an opportunist and a nymphomaniac.
There are a few more motley collection of characters, who are themselves charming and possessive of a few perverted traits of their own, oh and her son, Youchiro who is caught in between
I'm a self profess advocate of "pink films" and this one ranks high in my list for its sheer wackiness and bombastic in your face sex scenes, every single sex is outrageous, frantic and raucous. We get earthquake inducing ones, cucumbkins, drum-base rhythmic, brawl sex...basically where and whenever a sex scene could work, it did and they're all ridiculous, or cringe-worthy.
The main plot is of a local cricket-sumo tournament in which Hiroshi gets caught-up in courtesy of Haruka son, Yuichiro. He wants to prove himself to Haruka by beating the local champion, Anzai this will also strengthen his ties to Haruka, since he will have succeed where her former boyfriend (Tora) failed.
Every plot element is over the top and comical, most certainly worth a watch for "wacky-com ecchi" lovers.
