Paying $24.40 for a gallon of milk might sound crazy, but that's how much it would feel like if you were living below the poverty line in the San Francisco Bay Area. One in 10 Bay Area families lives below the poverty line, making $24,300 or less per year. That's one-fifth of the average income in the Bay Area, making basic needs five times harder to afford. Popsugar is proud to be partnering with Tipping Point Community, the leading poverty-fighting organization in the Bay Area, in its first-ever awareness campaign called Poverty Line Prices. The campaign sheds light on what it's like for people too poor to meet their basic needs every time they visit the grocery store. The video above captures the reactions of shoppers as they purchase groceries with prices inflated by 500 percent. The film was shot at a grocery store in Nob Hill, one of San Francisco's most affluent neighborhoods,...

Here at Digital Spy, we love a game show. And we love Richard Osman. So when we got a call asking if we'd like to take part in a journalists' edition of Richard Osman's game show Two Tribes, how could we resist?
If you missed the first series of Two Tribes, here's how it works: the contestants fill out a questionnaire beforehand, and then in each round they're split into two tribes depending on whether they answered "yes" or "no" to a particular question. Then the tribes battle it out to stay in the competition.
That all sounds simple enough, but then we got sent the questionnaire, about a week before we went on set. And let us tell you, there is nothing simple about this questionnaire (which is pretty long - we were advised that it might take half an hour to complete, so they aren't messing around...

Here at Digital Spy, we love both game shows and Andi Peters - so imagine our delight when we were given the chance to pop up to Manchester to have a go at ITV's brand new series Ejector Seat! Of course, we then went on to get very nervous (the lights are bright, you guys!), freaked out at the possibility of pressing our buzzer prematurely (who hasn't been there?) and basically kind of embarrassed ourselves a little bit.
That said, we had a great time - and can't wait to see more people getting tipped back in those Ejector Seat chairs (which are very comfy, just so you know. Deceptively comfy.) Watch the video below to see how Digital Spy did (we swear we knew all of the answers, honest) and then read on to see what Andi had to say about the show...

Andi Peters has signed up to host new ITV daytime quiz show Ejector Seat.
The game sees six players sitting on "imposing" seats, each at the top of a track that leads towards "the edge".
If they answer questions incorrectly, their seat starts to move back towards the edge - and if they fail to stop themselves, they're ejected from their seat and eliminated from the competition.
The last contestant still in their seat will then be able to take part in the final round, with the chance to win up to £10,000.
Gethin Jones has also landed a quiz show on ITV daytime, with The 21st Question seeing a "power player" facing ten challengers through a series of 'winner stays on' rounds.
The final player left standing can then go on to win, as long as they are able to answer the 21st Question.

Despite their dramatic potential, ecological importance and scientific interest, swamps rarely get the good press that crystal-clear lakes, misty mountains and sun-drenched beaches do. This may be partly because so much superstition has grown up around them. Swamp monsters are popular expressions of this superstition, embodying the impression that swamps are muddy, bug-infested slime pits.
Perhaps the most famous such monster in the annals of film is the comic book character Swamp Thing. This tangle of humanoid swamp vegetation first appeared in DC Comics' House of Secrets #92 (1971) and he was later revamped for his own title. In the 1980s the comic was adapted for the film Swamp Thing. The character has also appeared in that film's sequel, The Return of Swamp Thing, and animated and live-action television series.
Contemporary with the origination of Swamp Thing was the first appearance of Marvel Comic's Man-Thing. Swamp Thing and Man-Thing had similar origin...
