All actors performed their own stunts in this production. Todd Humes and Renee Porada are both multiple martial arts champions in Tang Soo Do. Len Kabasinski ("Leon South") also has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do/Tang Soo Do. Humes incurred a hamstring injury during the final confrontation between he and "Dakota". South developed a case of elbow tendinitis from his fight sequence with Blue Meanie. Pamela Sutch is also advanced in Northern Shaolin Kung-Fu and performed all her fight scenes.
The film played in front of a standing room only crowd at the Roadhouse Theatre in Erie, PA, for the 2006 Great Lakes Film Festival. It took home the "Best Horror Film" award at the festival.
Producer Lisa McQuiston appears several times throughout the film as different characters ("Stick's wife", "great Dane Girl #1", "nightclub patron", "vagrant wolf").
The silver bracelet that appears on Len Kabasinski's ("Leon South") wrist in one scene is engraved with the word "KillerWolf".
The last scene shot for the film was the "Stick and Star" sex scene. Initial filming had been completed for about a month, when editor Dusty Austen and director Len Kabasinski decided there was not a smooth enough transition between two of "Dakota"'s scenes. To ease the "jump", this scene was added.
