Sixes and the One Eyed King is a modern day tragedy inspired by the original Twilight Zone television series and B-movies of the early 60's. The story follows six suicidal people in Las Vegas who are given an opportunity by an international underground gaming consortium to participate in a series of Russian Roulette style games in hopes of obtaining financial wealth. These games are being conducted as part of an internet gambling website for high rollers who watch and wager. The six 'contestants' are locked into a bare room equiped with survellience cameras and given instructions over a loudspeaker. Round One: Drink the liquid from one of the vials. It is the evolution of reality TV.

One by one the 'contestants' are eliminated until a high roller from Spain recognizes one on them as his cousin who disappeared several years ago after having a nervous breakdown. He was enjoying wagering on who would live or die but now he wants the game stopped. Is there time?

Alternate versions
In 2023 the 100 minute version of the film which was originally released to film festivals was released under the title "Sixes" Director's Cut". The version which was distributed after it's film festival run in 2007 was cut to 88 minutes.

Great Time!

I was given this title by a friend's recommendation. I recommend this dark and suspenseful movie to anyone who enjoys the Twilight Zone genre. I didn't know what to expect at first and was very delighted. It made me think without thinking. I was mostly impressed by Scott Ford's gripping performance. I would love to see him try a run at more roles like comedy. It also reminded me of the Suicide Kings. The editing while indie, kept my attention and capture film noir. It also had some undertones of Unusual Suspects. The movie has won many independent film festival awards. I think Rod Serling would be very proud. You will not be disappointed!
