I was lucky enough to see this film and talk to the director before it premiered in Portugal, which gave me the possibility of better understanding the different levels of symbolism and degrees of abstract communication it contains. Even though this experimental piece makes use of voice over, it could easily be narrated by it's own powerful images. It is a work of visual and thematic honesty, in which you can truly feel the delivery comes from deep within the author (who both directs and stars on this short film). It's also worth to mention the nice contained minimalist cinematography. Overall it's a piece that is truly worth "experimenting". I'll definitely be waiting to see what comes next on this young film maker's filmography.
