The video was made in five days as an example for entrants to an on-line film festival Hopper was to judge, along with Quentin Tarantino, in 2000, but the festival was canceled. It was instead shown in a European art museum, playing continuously on a loop for a year, and was also screened three times at NYC's Whitney Biennial in 2002. It was later shown, along with 1971's "The Last Movie", when Hopper won the CineVegas Marquee Award in 2003 and was part of the Ace Gallery, Los Angeles, retrospective "Dennis Hopper: A Survey" from March-July 2006.
The unidentified actress playing the homeless woman/exotic dancer was an actual exotic dancer.
