I recall watching this series which was shown in NY in the early 90's usually later at night. Television was still decent entertainment, then, real writers and Hollywood myths. Not trash reality we see today.
Anyway, the series often had Tony Curtis and his commentary regarding various Hollywood scandals, the Jean Harlow house and her mysterious early death. Interesting scenes of some of the celebrities residences. The Normandy villa atop Laurel Canyon. The death of Marilyn Monroe and her house on South Helena Drive in Santa Monica, which was later found to have been fully video and audio-taped in every one of her rooms. Scary.
Just the sense of older earlier Hollywood, scandals that actually happened and the mysteries surrounding them. I am not sure if they ever did a segment on the "Black Dahlia" mystery murder, but came across Anger's name as I was researching the "Order Temporalis Orientis- aka the OTO" another group located in southern California. Intriguing and excellent information for film historians, people interested in the story behind the story. 10/10.
