Third production featuring country performers and actors Almir Sater and Sérgio Reis together, after Planet of the Pantanal (1990) and The King of the Cattle (1996), all set at the Brazilian Pantanal. Reis acting debut was in Paradise (1982), also set there.
Tiago Santiago briefly replaced Cristianne Fridman as writer after ratings became low. Fridman later reassumed her place when the series became a hit.
Second series featuring Jonas Bloch and Bia Seidl as a couple, after Jamais Te Esquecerei (2003). Bloch portrays the antagonistic character in this series, while Siedl had this role in "Jamais".
