Sometimes, the SIC TV station knew how to invest some capital in the production of some quality content. This series, produced by Teresa Guilherme, is an adaptation of a format that was quite successful on Spanish television, but which did not find the same success in Portugal. Even so, it lasted two seasons and was re-aired on several occasions, both on SIC and on its subsidiary channels, on cable television.
I won't go into detail explaining the script. Suffice it to say that the humorous series is based on the adventures experienced by the apartment owners of a small urban condominium in Lisbon. There is everything: disagreements between neighbors, rivalries, flirtations, rumors. In each episode there is something that happens, and that the neighbors, united or disunited, try to solve. It's not a laugh-your-tears comedy, but it had its moments and is far more interesting and funnier than some import material.
The series has several well-known Portuguese actors, and with some credits signed with regard to comedy. The cast was not always the same, but over the seasons we can highlight the contributions of Nicolau Breyner, Carlos Areia, Luís Gaspar, Natalina José, Rosa Lobato de Faria, Joaquim Nicolau, Sofia Aparício, Pedro Diogo, Helena Isabel and Maria João Abreu .
