Gladys is a timid girl who wants assurance that her sweetheart is not a descendant of the pirate Captain Kidd. She goes to a fake spiritualist. Meanwhile, her sweetheart gets mixed up with a bunch of waiters, dressed up as pirates aboard a ship.
