Maybe it's because I just recently got into Indian soap operas. Or maybe it's because I am comparing to the other domestic and foreign shows/movies that I've seen over the years. Kasamh Se has to be one of the most frustrating and painful series I've sat through. Most of the time characters seem to be mute and unable to express themselves at times of relevance. People reveal their thoughts aloud when alone just for the camera. I understand wanting the audience to know what's going on, but if the writer/director/producer is looking for realism, they should consider how often they speak monologues to themselves in their lives. And to politely end my tirade, the one thing that annoys me more than the rest is how the show really takes only 10 minutes while the rest of the show just keeps cutting to characters faces repeatedly during seemingly tense moments. While the plot is possibly believable, I think a 15 year old could come up with more content for a 1/2 hour show.

Kasamh Se is one of the best dramas that are featured on Zee TV. It has been a while since I have felt so good about watching a soap. The concept is good, the pace of the story is good, the acting is just superb... and the chemistry.. there is just no word for it.
The story is basically about three sisters (Bani, Pai and Rano) from Mont Tabu, who after the sudden dead of their father, come to Mumbai. From the recommendation of their father, the three sisters land at Jai Walia's Mansion, a business tycoon. The story starts to get interesting when Jai Walia's fall for the second sister (Pai), who on th wedding night runs away with her boyfriend (Pushkar, a close friend of Jai Walia). The eldest of the sister Bani, have no choice but to take her sister's place in the wedding ceremony and hence, gets married to Jai Walia.
I don't know where to start about this show. The storyline is so different then what we see on TV and the pace of the show makes the audience asking for more. I have been watching this show for 8 months now and the story line keeps on getting better and better. However, no matter how good a storyline is, it is even better if it is acted out the right way. Kasamh Se have some of the best starting actors that make the audience at home like, no LOVE the drama. Of course, the star stealer of this soap are Ram Kapoor and Prachi Desai, who are just too good. Their on-screen chemistry is awesome, they make you feel what the character is going through so well, that sometimes it is hard to distinguish between the real them and their respectful characters. Ram Kapoor have stolen the heart of woman all over the world, with his smoking eyes and his sensual lips,(not to mention his amazing acting skills) no matter what he does he does it good and make us fall for him all over again. Prachi Desai, who is only 18 years old, is a extremely talented actress, her face is pleasure to watch on TV and her emotional scenes doesn't leave a dry eye in the room. Other characters that deserve a special shoutout are Ashwini Khalsekar who plays the role of Jigyasa (she makes you hate her so much but at the same time makes you wonder her talent as an actress), Roshni Chopra (Pai, you will hate her and at the same time be lost in her beauty) and Naman Shaw (who plays Puskhar, a heartthrob who have stolen as many woman's heart as Ram Kapoor).
Some people are not for soaps, because of the unrealism in them. However, the point of soaps is to get away from the everyday reality and for just half an hour peek into the lives of these characters and just have fun with it. Kasamh Se has done just that, it is a show that will make you cry, make you laugh, and at the same time make you Fall in Love. Watch this show you will not be disappointed! Kasamh Se!!!!
PS: A special shoutout also goes out for the superb dialogue that they have so cleverly written for the actors. It is the Strenght of their words that makes the scenes and the show so very memorial to the fan and will make the show a classical...

This is one of the best Indian serials I have ever seen. The chemistry between Jai (Ram Kapoor) and Bani (Prachi Desai) is to die for. Most all people I know have been glued to the television every night to see what happens next. Its a very well written serial with some wonderfully acted scenes. Beautiful job. My hats off to the characters Jai and Bani who have successfully captured my attention every night!! The other characters in this serial do a fine job as well, and Ekta Kapoor brings back her magic to the small screen once again. The director has a wonderful sense of what the audience is looking for in a serial and is clearly able to keep the audience on their toes week after week. Of course there are always slower weeks in Indian serials, (and although Kasamh Se has had those on rare occasion), this is one of the few serials where there has been a strong liking for certain characters and a strong disliking for others. Beautifully portrayed (yes even the villains).
