This was the last Winnie the Pooh TV show to have Ken Sansom as the voice of Rabbit before his sudden death of a stroke in October 2012. Tom Kenny started voicing the character by starting with Winnie the Pooh (2011).
Outside of educational media and remaining lines from Pooh's Heffalaump Halloween Movie, this is the first time Travis Oates became the new voice of Piglet as John Fiedler died two years before the show's debut.
Jim Cummings, the voices of Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, Tara Strong, the voice of Porcupine, and Mark Hamill, the voice of Turtle, previously worked together on Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island (1998) as the voices of Jacques Simone and Snakebite Scruggs respectively.
This is the only Winnie the Pooh production where the characters are in CGI and to be fully computerized.
Since Lumpy is now part of the Hundred Acre Wood, heffalumps are no longer seen as scary creatures by Pooh and his friends. However woozles and jagulars are still said to be fearful creatures when they're mentioned throughout the series.
