Aired on the Saturday morning Kids' WB block.
Last Tom and Jerry project created by Joseph Barbera before his passing in 2006. However, he was involved as an executive producer and a writer in some episodes of the first season, but in the second season, he was never involved due to his death. Barbera was replaced by Sam Register, who previously worked for the shows such as Teen Titans (2003) and Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi (2004) in the second season (who was oddly uncredited for unknown reasons).
The first Tom and Jerry TV series produced by Warner Bros. Animation since Tom & Jerry Kids Show (1990).
The final Tom and Jerry series to be premiered on a Saturday Morning cartoon since The New Tom & Jerry Show (1975), and the final one to be broadcast.
The only series to be aired on The CW before shortly it was canceled in 2008.
