It's short, silly, sarcastic, and I love it.

Zombies in My Neighborhood is a behind the scenes look at the making of a movie that doesn't exist. Howard Longfellow (Larry Longstreth) is a director who's so sure of himself that he thinks his zombie film is pure art. Surrounding Howard is a cast and crew like there has never been before: a lead actor who's just gotten out of the slammer, a passionate (and possibly psychotic) zombie choreographer, and an assistant director who's in way over her head and surrounded by nutjobs. Sound bizarre? It is.

I find myself trying to think of things to criticize, but I can't seem to. I've watched this multiple times now and I crack up every time. The writing's great, the delivery is hilarious, and even the homemade look of it fits in perfectly with the documentary-style nature of it. It feels like the little brother of a Christopher Guest film such as This is Spinal Tap or A Mighty Wind. I'd criticize the heck out of it if I could, but I honestly think it's excellent.

My highlight? I've actually got two highlights this time around, folks. One is Howard's very brief, but very funny "Suicide Drag" bit. I bust out laughing every time.

My second highlight has to be watching Clarissa Paciotti trying to keep a straight face in her scenes.

It's short, silly, sarcastic, and I love it. Larry and his crew have major potential. They're a great example of talent without a budget. Keep it up you guys, you've got it.

I highly suggest you guys all go track down Zombies in My Neighborhood online and watch it.
