Goofs
(1.10), when the two women officers enter the train station they are wearing Women's Royal Auxillary Air Force (WAAF) cap badges on their caps, with eagles, although wearing the uniforms of naval lieutenants. Later, beside the train, when saying their goodbyes, they are wearing proper Women's Royal Naval Service (WRNS) cap badges, with anchors.

A good story idea...but executed way, way too quickly to be realistic.

General Crowe can see that Savage is practically killing himself by working so hard. After a particularly tough mission, Crowe orders General Savage to take some time off and relax....and, of course, he only does this very reluctantly.

As Savage enters the train car for his trip, he accidentally enters a car already reserved for Lt. Macrea (Dana Wynter). The two get off to a VERY rocky start and time and again, they get on each other's nerves. In Hollywood, this usually means the two will fall in love...which is exactly what happens. But of course, they cannot give the tough General Savage a nice happily ever after and tragedy is on the horizon.

This is a good episode except that stuff happens WAY too quickly. I think making it a two-part episode would have helped. My complaint is that they go from disliking each other to falling deeply in love way too fast to be realistic...and the ending, even more so. Additionally, the dislike part was way overdone. Now I am not saying it's a bad episode...but it goes by too fast to be truly memorable and seems cliched because of this. Worth watching.

By the way, the casting was odd. Wynter (with a very strong English accent) plays a Scottish woman. Her father (Rhys Williams) is Welsh but plays a Scot reasonably well. His accent was actually very nice.... Wynter just sounded English. Most Americans won't notice, but as I've spent a decent amount of time in the UK, I wondered how Brits would see this episode and the oddly misplaced casting.
