The Bold Whip

The stagecoach is taking passenger Ann Marston to visit her husband a cavalry officer.

Another passenger called Rhodes is acting shifty and is later found to be wanted for murder. He claims to be a gambler but Perry and Kane later discover that he is running guns for Cheyenne Indians.

Perry and Kane find themselves surrounded by the Cheyenne. The Indian attacks has driven off settlers who has sold of their land cheaply.

Something Rhodes would have benefitted from. Buying up land cheap. Hence his alliance with the Cheyennes.

The episode is formulaic but this is a hissable villain who has a few things to hide.

He planned to leave no witnesses. He traded guns with the Cheyenne, even engineered the stealing of the army payroll.
