Goofs
At the end Galen tells Barlow that he overheard his conversation with Urko. This is highly unlikely because Urko and his gorillas had hurriedly rode off on their horses for quite a distance. Galen and the rest could have never caught up on foot in order to eavesdrop on Barlow and Urko.

The Wolf and the Fox!!!

There's something unusual in this episode, meanwhile the greedy Urko imposes a Horse race on several Apes's Villages using his powerful high position at Army which allow him set up all sort of cheating on the race track, the Mayors stays coerced on those blatant unfair stakes, somehow this turn he will faces the wise Prefect Barlow, who has two aces up its sleeve, a skillful politician who play in both sides, firstly bring the human Virdon on the race, breaking the rules, cunningly previously settled with Zaius, second he has a fastest horse and the Alan as expertise Jockey, although he just will run to save the young Martin's son, also he borrow his know-how to Martin the blacksmith asking for a thin horseshoes, the race starts as Urko's will, taking advantage of the delay on start, on race track, nets, tied brush loose to bring down Virdon, disguised quagmire, even gun shooting as last option, fine episode that reminds us the old legend "The Wolf and Fox"!!!
