Frank Black travels to Utah to develop the profile of William Garry requested by County Prosecutor Calvin Smith. Garry is a former sheriff that has murdered his wife and three children at home. Garry has confessed his crime and has been convicted, but the prosecutor wants to sentence him to death penalty. Frank visits the crime scene and notes that Garry's statement does not correspond to what he has seen. He believes Garry is an innocent man, but the prosecutor and the whole population want him dead.
"Covenant" is an interesting episode of "Millennium", where Frank is hired to prepare the profile of a killer but concludes that the man did not kill his family. The situation is unique, since the prisoner, the prosecutor and the people believe Garry should die, and Frank pursuits the truth until he finds it. My vote is eight.
