The politically correct crowd has condemned a good made for T.V. movie only because it portrayed the south (Confederate States of America) as having good heroes who influenced young minds to do the right things in life. John Mosby was an insignificant part of the Civil War but also was a part of history that cannot be ignored. His leadership showed that men can fight a civilized war. (If there is such a thing) Maj. Mosby had perfected guerrilla warfare against the enemy. Still he fought with honor. He was constantly aggravating the Yankee soldiers by raiding their supply lines, stealing their payrolls and creating havoc once by stealing into a Yankee camp and capturing a general from their midst. I always looked forward to the next episode because the storyline was about a real American hero. Remember, even Confederate soldiers were Americans.
