Kate Winslet is the guest star shooting a film about the Holocaust. Well you win an Oscar for that as she tells Andy. Ironically Winslet would win an Oscar for a film that dealt with aspects of the Holocaust.
Andy plays a German officer and looks rather natty in the German uniform. He tells someone he looks even better when he wears white sheets and carries a burning cross.
Maggie is involved in some telephone sex with a boyfriend and finds it uncomfortable until she gets tips from Kate Winlset on how to engage in telephone sex properly.
Andy meanwhile takes a shine to another extra in the film who has a sister with cerebral palsy and they are also religious. Andy pretends to be catholic to get close to her but it all ends up embarrassing at a church meeting with the priest.
A terrific guest turn from Winslet, plenty of squirming provided by Andy mocking religion and disability at the same time. My favourite bit was when the Nazis break down the door and the director shouts cut just as Andy shows his face through the door. The life of an extra, eh.
